With only one house of Congress, and no veto override, it's an empty promise that they can't KEEP anyway.
48% is larger than 47%. Only 48% believe it should be repealed, but how many think it should be changed, sure there are parts of it that are favorable, but the parts that haven't kicked in yet are the parts that people won't like. Once people start to see the truth behind the massive bill, opinions will change.
We live in a democracy, so if 48% vote one way while 47% vote another, guess what happens. I think all major bills such as this one should be voted on by the people, why would that not be possible?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
