No point getting a netbook first then upgrade to a better device in future. You already list photo editing & video editing as part of your requirements, how would a netbook satisfy your needs then? Even those portable subnotebooks which fit your budget is cutting it close when it comes to either photo or video editing.
You should opt for nothing less than a subnotebook running on the Intel CULV platform so that battery life is optimal. If battery life is not of much concern, you may want to consider those AMD portables. These AMD ones are great for users on a tight budget.
Performance-wise they are still decent. Just that the battery life is still nowhere close to Intel's. I notice these AMD ones come with integrated Radeon graphics which may be a plus to some.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
