I give the Saints a B-. They started off in rapid fashion with a shoot out at Green Bay, losing by just a touchdown. Just when they seemed to be pulling it together, they lose to the St Louis Rams who were previously win-less.
However, Sean Payton and Drew Brees pulled it together and brought the team to a 13-3 regular season, going into the playoffs with wins of 62-7 over the Colts, scoring 40+ against the Falcons, and crushing the Panthers on the last game of the season. In the playoffs, the Saints kicked off in dramatic fashion with the Detroit Lions and their great offense. It was a shoot out until the very end when they pulled away and won by a comfortable margin.
Next game, the Saints went on the road to San Francisco to face the defense of the 49ers. They turned the ball over 5 times in the game, but still managed to stay in it to the end. It took a touchdown pass from Alex Smith with only 10 seconds left to put away the New Orleans squad, sending them home for the year.
So, with that said, I think the Saints have one of the best offenses in the league, every starter having potential to be a star in the NFL. With players like Drew Brees, Jimmy Graham, and Darren Sproles, the Saints' offense is nearly impossible to keep off the score boards for less than 30 points a game. The draft for Sean Payton's team should include safeties, defensive backs, and defensive linemen so they don't have to blitz so often.
I do not see the Saints taking any offensive players in the upcoming NFL Draft, as their defense is the side with the most problems. And yes, congratulatons to the Giants' fan base and to the team. They deserve it for being stuck in a division with the drama-ridden Cowboys and Eagles.
I'll give the Giants a B plus, for the season and a A for their Super Bowl run. :) After a hot start and then losing 4 out of 5, most of the injured players got healthy just in time to help the Giants get in the playoffs. I think the Giants just need to draft a running, and they need to resign Mario Manningham, and Chase Blackburn to long term extensions.
And hopefully they'll be less injuries next season, but I kinda blame that on the lock out since the player weren't able to practice until late July.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
