Another Football season has come & gone. What changes does your team have to do to be a contender ->?

The Twins have 10 free agents: Jim Thome - Stay Carl Pavano - Stay Jesse Crain - Stay Jon Rauch - Stay Brian Fuentes - Go Matt Guerrier - Go.. I think we have better options. Ron Mahay -Go Randy Flores - Go Nick Punto - Go. I think Kubel was one too, and he got his contract.

I'm as hopeful as I was last year. It'll be nice having Nathan back.. I hope he'll be able to close the door against the Yankees. The Twins need to stay healthy next year.

Morneau getting hurt meant Thome and Kubel and Cuddyer had to play a lot more. Not so bad for Cuddyer, but it was rough on Thome and Kubel who were both very hurt in the playoffs. If Morneau stays healthy, I'll expect to go further.

As a Cubs fan, we need a first baseman. I say either Adam Dunn, Carlos Pena, Aubrey Huff, Lyle Overbay or Adam LaRoche should take it unless they resign Nady or end up moving Colvin to first. Second base is probably going to be a mix of Blake DeWitt, Jeff Baker and Darwin Barney.

Shortstop is obviously Starlin Castro. The Cubs will likely resign Aramis Ramirez and if he is healthy he will be good. Left field, Soriano.

Center field, Marlon Byrd. I love this guy. Right field, is likely Colvin, Fukudome must be sent to the bench.

Catcher is Geovany Soto, who really came back. On the bench, they have Wellington Castillo and good minor league catchers Robinson Chirinos and Steve Clevenger. GET RID OF KOYIE HILL!

Pitching is good: Dempster, Zambrano(hopefully he'll be back), Tom Gorzelanny, Randy Wells and Silva. Maybe Coleman or Samardzija later, although I don't like Samardzija too much, but they have prospects, maybe Chris Archer, Jay Jackson and Chris Carpenter could step up. Bullpen: Marmol, Marshall, Scott Maine, Cashner and Russell are the only reliable people so far unless prospects like Gaub and Robinson Lopez can step up.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
