Chances of sabres being a serious contender in the nhl next season?

They have a good chance, but the road is going to be VERY TOUGH. It's not going to be a cake walk. Yea, they have been HOT lately.

And it's always good to be hot at the right time. Last year the Penguins got real hot after being out of the playoff picture. I guess we'll see what happens.

I just have to laugh at all those people who counted Detroit out and started the Dead Wings chants. The team is looking good once again. For how long, I have no clue.

Just happy to see them looking to make the playoffs for the 19th straight season. I'll worry about how far they go when that time arrives.

I don't think anyone with an IQ higher than 13 could question that at this point. Yes, howie doesn't know the pressure of the post season, but he (usually) stands on his head and he's won some incredibly important games for the wings... it's easy to imagine him shining in the playoffs. Our boys are healthy again for the most part, and they've been very strong offensively.

Many of the teams in the west (a'hem, chicago) have been crumbling. The wings have a history of going far in the playoffs, and the way they've been playing since the olympic break reminds us why. Do you believe ANY team in the west is saying "gee, hope we face the wings first in the playoffs....?

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
