Any advice about deep frying turkey for Thanksgiving?

I have not deep fried a turkey myself but a couple of friends have. Their advice, besides following the directions that came with the fryer is to 1) before you put oil in the pot, fill it with water and then place the turkey in the pot. This way you can measure how much oil the turkey will displace without causing the boiling hot oil to overflow the pot.2) When lowering the turkey into the boiling oil, use a long broom stick with one person on each end.

Lower the turkey very slowly, and be prepared because it will spit hot oil at you. Eveyone tells me that fried turkeys taste great. Unfortunately, I use my turkey fryer to brew beer, but that's an entirley different question.

This can be a tasty treat for the holidays. It can be unsafe since you're dealing with a lot of hot oil. It can also become dangerous if you were to drop the turkey into the hot oil while it is frozen.

If you follow all the directions with your deep fryer, you should have a nice juicy turkey for your feast. Good luck!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
