Any home remedies for a urinary tract infection until I can get to the doc? I've tried cranberry juice already. This stuff hurts?

I'm not a doctor, so read the following with your sceptic's glasses on. Urinary tract infections can be very hard to treat and can be dangerous if they move into the kidneys. So you want to make very sure it's dealt with as soon as possible.

That said, you can go to a regular doctor or you can go an alternative medicine route. Both have an array of things that help infections. As bad as yours sounds, I'd go the conventional route. In the meantime, still drink the cranberry juice or take capsules, but make sure the juice is sugar-free!

This is a mistake many people make. Infections just love sugar, which makes it harder for your body to fight off infections.

In addition to tracebook's answer, there is not much you can do. Sugar-free cranberry juice, and as much water as you can handle. It will not remove the infection, but it will slow it down.

Your urine will help with the infection. Also, take some advil or ibuprofen to deal with the pain. Call your doctor and tell them what's up, and mention it's urgent.

If they can't take you, go to a walk-in clinic, or an urgent care center. They'll know what to do right away and provide you with the proper medication. There isn't anything else I've found that will help!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
