Yes! Here are two sites I've worked as a contractor for taking direct sales calls and working as customer service for various companies: workathomeagent.com liveops.com Both are legit, pay on time and pay fairly well depending upon what project you're working on. You do, however, need a broadband connection in order to work for either company.

You train online, pick your own hours and work when you feel like it. My problem? I didn't ever feel like it!

;) .

Answering telemarketing requests My granddaughter had to give up her job for health reasons. She took a job handling requests from people who buy stuff from television ads. She works on the computer and has a script to read.

She doesn't have to sell anything; the calls are referred to her from the people who take the calls. She is paid according to how long she is on the phone, not by the sales. One requirement is you must have a land-line telephone to use for your business.(not dedicated.

I'm sure it's for security) She makes a pretty good income considering she has no work expenses and she can do it day or night 24 hours a day. I can tell you she goes to Liveops.com to connect with her employer. liveops.com/become_an_agent.html Good luck .

Here are a few ideas Here’s some information from a post I wrote a while ago. I’m guessing you’re looking for the kind of thing that’s covered in the third group of links. Those are bulletin boards/discussion groups where opportunities are not only listed but discussed.

You’ll find jobs that offer both employee and independent contractor status. It might be worth checking out the first group for a bit of supplemental income. If you have skills or experience in a certain field, it might be worth your time to check with some companies in that field.

Telecommuting is becoming a cost efficient alternative. Many companies are turning some traditional positions into telecommuting ones. It wouldn’t hurt to check out vacancies in your particular field.

There are quite a few work at home activities you can do to supplement your income. There are also jobs where you can work at home as either an employee or an independent contractor. When trying to determine if a possibility is legitimate or not, there’s a good rule of thumb: if you have to pay to do the work, it’s probably not a genuine job.

They're hiring again but only a small percentage of applicants will be accepted. If you enjoy searching, also check out mahalo.com/. Apply at greenhouse.mahalo.com/.There are also companies that hire people to do customer service, data entry, and verification work by phone from home.

You can find out who they are, how to apply and other’s experiences with them in these discussion groups: Work place Like Home workplacelikehome.com/forum/ Work at Home Moms wahm.com/ Telecommuting Moms forumadvantage.com/0 You have to register at some of these but it’s free. Workplace Like Home has a comprehensive list of genuine work at home jobs for data entry, customer service and taking orders. Telecommuting Moms lists and rates companies.

On all of these boards people who actually work for the companies talk about their experiences. It’s quite helpful to hear from people with first hand experience. You can also find out who’s hiring, as well as get useful advice and support.

Hope this helps and good luck to you! .

There are, but you're unlikely to get one by answering a classified ad. If you're seeking full-time at-home work, about the only way that's going to happen is by establishing a reputation for yourself with the company you want to work for. You may have to work at their facility for a while before you can be cleared to take the job home.

You want to be known for trustworthiness, reliability, and organization, as well as going the extra mile. Managers are nervous about employees they can't see, but by the same token once you're working at home don't drive co-workers crazy by emailing them frequently just to prove you're working and online. When I worked for Very Large Computer Company I had a co-worker who did that.Be prepared to make a case for working at home (freeing up an office or a cube is a good reason).

Have a dedicated cellphone for business and make sure everyone knows the number. Of course the ultimate home-based job is to start your own business, which then can be in any field you want. That's what I did.

I develop and monetize my websites, collect passive income from parked domain names and sell jewelry on eBay.

1 Sardis, Thank you very much for all your information... I work now as a Pre School Teacher 20 hrs and wanted to get back into the work force and really use my mind again, but at home. I worked for GTE in Management and thought perhaps I could find something as well as teaching. I will surf all the websites you gave me.

Thank you again you were most helpful...Marceloo .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
