I have multiple virtual machines and I can't put enough sound cards in for each virtual machine. As I connect to the remotely via logmein or gotomypc it works by reverting the sound out of the sound card on the virtual machine and re-directing it remotely. Does any one know of any software or drivers that allow me to install a virtual sound card that will actually do this?
Actually both appears as a real sound card to Windows and actually plays sound with this virtual sound card? Most of them that I've tried just act like they're real sound cards but they don't play any sound out of them. This way when I connect with logmein or gotomypc it will detect a sound card and revert the sound to gotomypc or logmein?PS.
I don't use Remote Desktop because it's extremely slow so don't ask why I don't use RDP. Thanks I really appreciate it! Asked by dirtbikedude 37 months ago Similar questions: software driver install virtual sound card windows works output Computers > Software.

Microsoft Virtual PC can redirect the sound out of your actual physical card and multiple VM's can share it, or you can Microsoft Virtual PC can redirect the sound out of your actual physical card and multiple VM’s can share it, or you can leave it localized to the VM and as long as you’re using GoToMypC or logmein (I haven’t used logmein) and they support remote sound / there shouldn’t be a necessity for a virtual sound driver. Example, you configure 1 or more Virutal PC's and you leave their sound functions localized so they won't use your physical sound card, and then you RDP'd into the VM's IP address and chose to port the sound / you'll hear the sounds at your remote terminal w/o disturbing the physical PC. If you’re connecting to the physical PC which hosts these VM’s and assuming that system has no issues with remote sound then you shouldn’t have a necessity for a virtual sound card.
If your VM’s can reliably port out sound to the physical host but you’re still having issues porting the sound over the remote connection then I would suggest that perhaps there may be a compatibility issue with your sound card (drivers) and GoToMyPC and or Logmein if you’re having this much difficulty. I’m not as fluent with VMWare so I can’t offer any advice except that I’ve been told and I’ve personally noticed more robust and gapless sound from VMWare VM’s. I agree with your thoughts about RDP, aside from the fact it works even worse when you change the listening port, RDP seems barely suited for localized LAN remote and horrible for Internet connectivity.
I’d rather use VNC than RDP.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
