Any words of wisdom for Hobie-cat sailors?

As the son of an avid sailor (though not specifically a cat sailor) I can tell you that the first rule for sailing the gulf coast is safety. In a normal sailboat, this means having equipment available in the cabin, but with a cat, this means having equipment readily available on your person. A hobie cat is an extremely fun vehicle, but much like a bullet bike, you need to be careful where you "ride" it.

And in the case of the Gulf, I would say keep it close to the coast and keep some sort of emergency beacon on your live vest.

I gave you th eyoutube video of how to sail a hobie-cat. But if your trying to find out how to sail which I thought you probably won't need because you said you sail it anyways, I gave a link on how to sail aswell. I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
