I have never taken Neurontin (generic name gabapentin) myself, but, as a critical care (burn unit) RN, I have given it to quite a few of my patients, especially those fighting long-term pain related to nerve damage. It is most often prescribed for seizures and/or nerve pain. When given for nerve pain, it is usually in conjunction with other pain meds, as sort of a booster. As with any medication, everyone reacts to it a bit differently, but most of my patients say that their pain is better with it than without it.
Also, I work nights and have noticed that my patients who are on it complain of somewhat higher pain levels towards morning as they start to be due for their morning dose. From this I have concluded that if your pain is, in fact, due to a nerve problem, then gabapentin is certainly worth a try. But most people with chronic pain are willing to give almost anything a shot once.
I haven't noticed any specific side effects in my patients, but that might be because the ones that had bad side effects stopped taking it before they got to me. I have very little experience with it for seizures in the burn unit, but the neurologists are still recommending it, so I'm assuming it must help at least some of the time. Hope this helps?
Neurontin is good for you I love to use flaxseed it is great for your try flaxseed some time it helps when you have colds . Aside from alpha linolenic acid, flax seed is rich in lignan. Lignan is a type phytoestrogen (antioxidant) and also provides fiber.
Researches reveal that lignan in flax seed shows a lot of promise in fighting disease -- including a possible role in cancer prevention especially breast cancer. It is thought that lignan metabolites can bind to estrogen receptors, hence inhibiting the onset of estrogen-stimulated breast cancer. Recent studies also showed positive benefits of flax seed oil in IBD (Crohn's Disease and Colitis).
Flax seed oil seems to be able to heal the inner lining of the inflamed intestines. Moderately include flax seed in your diet. Indeed, a lot of food products contain flax seed such as bread, cereal and bakery goods.
Bakers may use flax seed flour or include flax seed in baking. Ways to include flax seed in home cooking * Sprinkle ground flax seed on your cereal and salads. * Substitute flax seed mixture for eggs in home baking such as muffin and pancake (1 tbsp milled flax seed, plus 3 tbsp water = 1 egg).
Final products will have less volume and taste gummier * Include in other recipe when nutty flavor is preferred * Substitute flax seed oil for other oils.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
