Are you in favor of keeping animals or birds in a zoo? I visited Delhi's national zoological park, found that life is miserable of animals and birds, confined cages, contaminated, stagnant water?

L can understand the original idea of allowing people to see animals they would never have seen in their lifetime ,many years ago,. BUT surely today, with wonderful nature programmes on T. V- and national parks where we can see wild animals safely there can be no need to lock beautiful wild animals in cages.

They need to run free..l would ban zoos if l had the power AND the circus.

A life in a jail or a life in the cage of a zoo is a life in confinement. No creature high or low prefers a life in confinement. An accused who is in a jail if freed he might do more murderous act, if an wild animal tiger or lion is freed from cage he or she will never hastate to kill a man to fill up his appetite.AS such confinement sometimes becomes a necessity for the cause of protection, education or discipline of the society.

But a better arrange could be maintained where even a wild animal is kept in open instead of in a cage with better care of food or shelter.

When you ask your question you ask it generally as if there was only one zoo. There are many zoos just as there are many hotels, bars or restaurants. Some are good and some are bad.

There again what one person sees as a good zoo is not necessarily the opinion shared by others. Some like to get their photos taken with baby tigers etc. I believe it is wrong. The cubs should be with the mother.

I could ramble on. Please look through my zoo hubs. Contamination?

Stagnant? I am with you. Confined?

Well maybe not. It is a territory issue.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
