I've never heard that males are harder to train, and I've never ever had a litter training problem with my cats. (I've had problems later on with sick cats - for instance one who developed pancreatitis needed the potty RIGHT NOW and I was in the shower...so he picked a different spot. ) But training is instinctive; even very young cats will want to bury their wastes, and it doesn't matter if they're male or female.
Here's a website that has some very good training tips: wikihow.com/Litter-Train-a-Kitten In addition to that, I might suggest, since it's implied but not spelled out specifically, confining a new kitten to one or two smallish rooms for a few weeks. One thing that can cause accidents is the kitten realizing he needs to go and then not being able to find the litter box. Keeping them enclosed in a small area - a bathroom works great - for a couple of weeks is a great way to avoid accidents and keep their stress levels down.
Then you can gradually introduce them to the rest of the house. If you're getting a kitten from somewhere else it's a good idea to find out what litter they've been using and get the same kind, at least initially. You can gradually mix in your preferred kind after the kitten knows where he's supposed to go.
The other thing I'd remind you to do is neuter your kitten. Spraying is a way for a kitten to mark his territory and it's just as instinctive as using the litter box. It won't be a problem until the kitten starts going through puberty - usually somewhere in the 6-12 month range - but neutering at around six months is usually an effective "preemptive strike." (And no, not all intact cats spray, and neutering doesn't always solve the problem, but it's still a good idea.
) I got a new young (10 weeks at the time) male kitten a couple of months ago. First thing I did after getting him in the door is plunk him in the litter box. And that's really all I had to do - there were no litter problems at all.
So take some time to read over the training suggestions in that link, and good luck.

A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
