Are my parents unfair?

Your parents are being unfair. That is a tremendous amount of work even for an established pro. You need to worry about your school work.

I agree the "club" is exploiting you. 200 people in action and you have to get them all? Are they paying you $5K (minimum) for this?

Forget about it. Tell your dad what you have learned is photography is valuable, time is valuable and the club is taking advantage of you. If your parents persist, do as suggested above and tell them that they have to help - get names, keep track of who is in which shot, get addresses, pay the cost of shipping (not a small amount), and help you edit the images and see how fast they decide this is a bad idea.

Explain that at your stage, editing is at least one hour per shot. Your exams are infinitely more important - study hard and score well. This is best thing you can do for you CV now.

It's your call, The idea is time, expense and experience, you mention CV resume, if you plan to further skills in photography, then this is good start, if you plan to go into other career goals, then prioritize, If you know the hours for races and time it takes to photo shoot , you then look at time management and correctly configure time slots for self and hobbies, remove this computer time and add photo time, compress daylight hours and expand edit slot in shifts, If you can not manage some portion of your time now, it will not help do the same in latter years, practice and proceed, when you sense lag, let parents know or friends and those that you work with, overtime may be needed, but not to supercell education, ..

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
