Are no bark collars safe for dogs?

The short answer is: YES. Shock collars are physically safe for dogs (if slightly annoying to the dog), but it's how you use them that is important. Barking is a natural behavior for dogs and it is best if you *train* your dog not to bark with less aggressive means before you invest in a shock collar.

If your dog knows when he is allowed to bark and when he is not, through positive reinforcement training, a shock collar is not needed. But if you are really deadset on getting a shock collar and training is not working, I suggest taking a look at this article: http://ezinearticles.com/?How-To-Control-Excessive-Barking-By-Your-Small-Dog&id=6566104It's your call whether to use a shock collar or not, if positive reinforcement training (rewarding the dog for NOT barking with a treat and simply saying "NO" or "Aah aah!" whenever the dog barks), but do your research first and don't make any snap decisions! :) Anissa2127 51 months ago http://ezinearticles.com/?How-To-Control-Excessive-Barking-By-Your-Small-Dog&id=6566104.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
