In regards to products such as shock collars for dogs what organization determines if they are humane and should be sold?

My guess is the ASPCA. Although they may not necessarily approve the shock collar, they are there to regulate any abuse or cruelty to animals. I don't think anyone allows this item to be "stamped on the label" approved, though in my opinion, no shock collars should be approved.

How would you like it if your shirt painfully zapped you even when the door is open and temping you to come outside? That's exactly what it's like for dogs.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
