Askville challenge for all members and Askville Team. Can you do this? Can each and everyone of us do just one thing nice to or for someone each day for a week?

It can be something as simple as buying an extra newspaper for someone or as involved as making dinner for a sick neighbor. Other ideas can be raking someone's yard or shoveling their sidewalk (if ya got snow already like we have) if they are older or perhaps ill and can't do it. Making a "plate lunch" from you dinner as you feed your family to take over to someone who could use a full belly.

Going to the children's ward in your local hospital to read to the patients. Picking up someone's dry cleaning while you're there. Opening the door for someone and helping them carry their packages.

Sharing your umbrella. Anything..anything at all that is kind or helpful counts. You don't get anything from it but you will get a smile (hopefully) from the person you help.

I sure can and do...... I do everyday. Something, no matter how little.....here are just a few examples ~ Just today I baked an awesome homemade chocolate cake with chocolate frosting for my neighbor, he is an older man probably in his late 70’s early 80’s because he keeps giving me stuff from his garden. Today he brought me a gigantic squash and a whole bag of red potato’s.

My other neighbor came over today to tell me the date of this falls book sale at the library, she knows how much I love it and one year I missed it and ever since she always tells me two weeks ahead of time. I gave her the potato’s. Last night we had a pack meeting for Cub Scouts and we asked everyone to bring in a box of Mac & Cheese for the food pantry.

I offered to bring them all in on Monday. Actually I volunteer so much at Cub Scout that I actually got shut off last night! I am a den leader assistant, I head chair the biggest fundraiser they have (popcorn), I help when needed to my other son den.

I am crafty so I do a lot when needed. Those bowling pins I made yesterday for a game for last night meeting. The theme was jungle animals.....we need a den leader for our new Tigers and I ofter, they said no way because I do too much all around.

I teach CCD too and I watch my granddaughter when ever needed (this I love so much). I am also the coordinator for Box Tops for my sons school. At work I do way, way more than is asked of me.

I help my family with anything and everything they need. We all do. I am so lucky to have a big loving family.

I love holding doors open for anyone. I am famous for always stopping in my car to let someone out of a side street. Friends know they can count on my to watch their children when ever they need.

I help the teachers (my son’s teachers) with supplies because I have so many awesome crafty things that help with projects. And yes I can and will do more! Great question!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
