Does Askville have a death wish? Do the Askville team members really not want to have jobs?

I can see no other reason to blow a huge hole into this community and make it into a sinking ship. The Bonus Questions are ridiculous. Catering to one member, excusing every atrocious breech of good behavior that she's shown in the past months... Has she shown ANY good behavior outside of the inane questions she herself posts?

The CLEAR double standard for behavior is beside the point. The mayor has just shown us how little they value users and their questions here. If I'm not good enough to post a question here, why not just come out and say so?

I'm seeing numerous accusations of favoritism, and I totally agree that this user should have been booted months ago. What I haven't seen is any explanation of why the AV staff might play favorites to that user. For the moment, I'm hoping that the explanation is simpler: they've been asleep at the switch, and they're picking up.

At least today, I'm seeing only one person filling the board with crud, and it's somebody I like and respect very much.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
