At what point during Taker vs HBK at WM 25, you didn't really care about who wins?

Anyone who says that that match is only a "match of the year" candidate because of the wrestlers involved must be sniffing glue. That was a SPECTACULAR match. Every year, I keep track of my own personal match of the year candidates.

Looking through the file I have for them (it's pretty much WWE only), these are the ones I've listed for MOTY 2010: -The Undertaker vs. Rey Mysterio, Royal Rumble -John Cena vs. Batista, Wrestlemania -The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels, Wrestlemania -Jack Swagger vs. The Undertaker, RAW -Team WWE vs. Nexus, Summerslam -Daniel Bryan vs. Dolph Ziggler, Bragging Rights All of those matches were fantastic in their own way, but none of them came even close to the third one on that list. The emotional component to that match, I can't even put it into words. Was it as great as the first one last year?

Probably not, but it was as close as anyone could have hoped for. It was an amazing match, and it's only the "smarks" who are determined to hate anything the WWE does who will tell you otherwise. Honestly, within the parameters of the WWE, and when you take into account that the WWE puts a heavy emphasis on elements outside of pure wrestling (such as story and emotion), what match even comes close?

As for match of the decade, I wouldn't agree with Shawn Michaels vs. Ric Flair. I can only judge from what I've seen, but in my experience as a wrestling fan, Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker at Wrestlemania 25 was the best match I've ever seen, bar none.

As far as WWE goes, HBK vs Taker is the match of the year and nothing comes close. So I wouldnt have a problem with them winning slammy. As far as PWI goes.

I wouldnt be insanely upset if it won match of 2010. Without a doubt that match is one of the best told stories I have ever seen. However, Angle vs A.J. Jan 4th iMPACT!

, La parka vs LA Park Triplemania 18, and Motor City machine Guns vs Beer Money 2 out of 3 falls on the Whole F'n show are possibly better choices for match of the year overall.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
