Atheists, do you respect religion?

I never understood why atheists acted like that towards others. Many of them accuse Christians or whatever other religions of forcing their beliefs onto others, yet most will blatantly call people with religious beliefs morons. I myself am an atheist but I've never felt the need to put down others just because of their beliefs.

If you honestly believe there is a God, then I honestly believe that, for you, there is one. But since most atheists consider religion stupid, they feel the people who follow it are idiots as well. I had a friend who said (he's an atheist), "No, I never claimed to know everything, but I'm not gonna make silly assumptions like I do."

This is how I've seen a lot of atheists talk. I don't approve, but that's just how it is.

There is nothing required to be an atheist other than not believing in any god. Therefore, it would depend on the person.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
