For ballet shoes I prefer Bloch Canvas Split Sole Pumps, but really any canvas split soles will do. For character shoes I again prefer the Bloch character shoes in Black with a 3" heel. For shoes to wear during modern you can either go with your jazz shoes, or something like the Capezio Footundeez.
I prefer to just wear half socks (socks that only cover your toes and the ball of your feet) or footundeez, but these take time to ge used to and you definately need calluses so they are not for everyone. For jazz shoes I prefer the Capezio Jazz Slip-on Slip Soles with no laces (laces just get in the way). As for pointe shoes, I prefer the Suffolk brand myself, but you should really be fitted by an expert who can find the best brand for your specific feet.
Also, just as a hint from someone who went to a professional dance school, you should maybe look into whether there is a specific type of shoe which you are required to wear by the school itself before purchasing anything. I know the school I went to had specific types of shoes that were required, so you may want to look into that to see if it is the case as well. I have included a link to a dance store website in case you want to take a look at any of the shoes I have recommended on there (they ahve lots of options).
Bloch for ballet shoes, and Sodanca for jazz shoes.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
