Not "before Christ came" but before Noah lived. Note in the genealogies in Genesis 1-9 that folks are living 800-900 years. Noah lives to be 600, then the flood, and lives 350 years after that (Genesis 9:28).
Good. But then every person after that lives a shorter life. The vapor canopy of the atmosphere rained out, allowing solar radiation--cosmic rays--in to the surface of the earth.
There, they proceed to disassemble our cells and begin causing mutations, including shortening life spans. Yes, we humans were initially designed to live as long as trees, only, trees don't defy God. "And Jacob said unto Pharaoh, The days of the years of my pilgrimage are an hundred and thirty years: few and evil have the days of the years of my life been, and have not attained unto the days of the years of the life of my fathers in the days of their pilgrimage" (Genesis 47:9).

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
