Buying a Survival/ Bush craft knife?

It depends. In the early years of paratrooper history (Mostly on about WW2 era Paratroopers) when they (the paratroopers) were more isolated they were often given additional survival training compared to your average infantry soldier. One reason why training was/is longer for Paratroopers than infantry.

WW2 paratroopers in all the armies were often considered an elite force (Not sure about nowadays but it might still be the same) An Interesting fact about Fallschirmjagers in WW2 is that they were originally dropped with just a side arm and there other equipment and weapons were in a completely separate chute to them which they would then have to locate after landing.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
