Can I buy a survival knife?

For $15 you will only get junk , which is ok maybe for looks but not any good for long term use. If you can only afford $15 then buy whatever you want and later when you can afford a real knife buy quality such as Buck. On the link below is one of my knives a Buck with a 6" fixed blade made in USA and selling for $85 http://www.buckknives.com/index.cfm?even... Buck knives are made from 420HC which is not junk steel as bladesmith suggests 420 steel is a cheap steel but 420HC is NOT 420.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
