I have done a ppt and something else (web, application etc) using a dual head video adapter or dual video cards in a desktop, but I have never tried two ppt's. It should work as long as you run at least one within powerpoint (opposed to pps's) so you can select which monitor it uses. The problem of slide control may be an issue however (which one gets the mouse click to advance?).

I just ordered the Satechi SP800 Smart-Pointer (from Amazon), which has an alt-tab switch, allowing it to toggle between two applications. I have tried alt-tab on the keyboard and it does toggle between two presentation (full) screen PPTs. It would probably be more feasible to convert my smaller PPT to PDF and use Acrobat in the full screen mode, which may be easier to sort out the video paths.

I am looking into the USB2VGAE2 USB-to-VGA adapter by Startech. Com, who said this should “theoretically” work with digital projectors, but some projectors expect a “pure” VGA signal generated from a video card, but possibly may not work with a converted VGA signal. Any comments on what percentage of digital projects would accept a converted VGA signal?

I would guess that most newer (less than 3 years old) projectors should handle it fine. Maybe some of the low end cheapies would have a problem.

If two computers are used, then yes for sure. If one computer is used -- good luck.
