You can definitely start gymnastics at your age! Now, you probably won’t make it to the Olympics, but thats not the only reason to do gymnastics. There are so many benefits to the sport, no matter what level you reach.
The strength, flexibility and coordination you’ll gain will help you in any other sport you happen to play. Gymnastics will keep you toned and fit - which is not only good for your health, it’s great for your self esteem. You’ll gain courage and confidence as you master new skills, and you’ll learn to set goals and overcome obstacles.
And besides all that... gymnastics is just fun to do! Now, depending on your gym, it’s possible that you could be in a class with girls who are quite a bit younger than you. That’s okay - the younger girls will look up to you, and you’ll probably progress faster than them because of your maturity level.
But if it bothers you, ask if there are any classes specifically for older girls. Or try signing up for a class that meets later in the evening. Later classes usually have more older girls, because the little ones are already at home getting ready for bed.
If your main goal is to learn cartwheels and flips, you might consider doing a tumbling class rather than gymnastics. (In gymnastics, you’ll work on the vault, bars, beam and floor, while a tumbling class just focuses on the floor skills). Tumbling classes are usually filled with middle school and high school girls who are learning tumbling skills for cheerleading or dance team.
Hope this helps! Good luck and have fun!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
