Can anyone help with information about John Morelli who played with Boston Yanks in 1940's?

He played for the Georgetown Hoyas so check with their sports information service. He is one of many players who have returned 2 fumbles for touchdowns so NFL.com should have some stats on him also John Morelli is my dad....I have always been so proud of him. Yes, he played for the Boston Yanks and I brag on him every opportunity that I can.

After playing for the NFL he went on to become the breadwinner for the family. He was married to Barbara Janet Ainslee and had three daughters, Diane Barbara Morelli Stine, Donna Marie Morelli Ford, and me...Daryl J. Morelli.

He worked for Container Corporation for many years and retired from that company early to enjoy life. When he retired he was living in Greensboro, NC and an active member with the Cardinal Country Club where he was an avid golfer. Unfortunately, life took its tole on dad - he developed Ahlzheimer's in his mid 70's and died at the age of 80 - still a very happy man.
