The country that in WW1 lost 2.5 million men (1million of them killed) charging into German machine gun fire time and time again despite almost certain death. Just to straighten things up, Britain has had American military bases (including nuclear ones) on its soil since the 1950s; putting the UK in very real danger of of being annihilated in someone elses war.

Dieppe was a raid by small force of largely Canadian troops to test the French coastal defenses, how successful did you expect it to be? And Dunkirk was a major success in which the allies held off a German army twice its size, inflicted 3x casualties on it and then evacuated in good order back to the Uk allowing Britain to continue the war . There are even Germans who admit it was an allied success.

I have nothing against the british some of my closest friends are british but the truth of them they are by far the most savage fearless lunatic nation on the planet and that's when there just having fun, that's not intended as an insult they are very friendly and easy to get on with .......... most of the time, but they have what can only be described as a crazy disposition and shared love for fighting, especially when they come on mass to Europe and I don't mean a brawl I mean a full on pitch battle, hundreds of them spontaneously erupt and start huge riot for no other reason just fun, I read there are over 3000 of them banned from coming to Europe and most country's in Europe even put there national security on standby when large numbers of brits are there, and I can tell you now they were the only soldiers in ww2 that the german soldiers feared and the only reason that germany lost the war, your silly american army could not of put up the fight that the british army put up, your american army would not even of dared take on the german army on your own like the british did, and even if they did they would of been defeated and over run a lot quicker than poland was. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
