My son won't drink the breatmilk at daycare when it is warmed up in his cup but he drinks it cold-room temp. Is that safe or does the milk have to be warmed up? Asked by newmom1129 49 months ago Similar questions: babies drink breastmilk staright fro refrigerator warming Family.

It isn't "bad" when its cold, some babies prefer it that way, my niece's daughter prefers cold formula. Of course I wouldn't give a newborn cold milk because it will turn their lips blue from cold! When you give them other things like water or juice it is usually cold or room temp, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.
Just make sure you shake it up because it separates. You are lucky he drinks it out of a cup, my 18 month old demands it only from the tap LOL and will only drink water from a cup..
It varies baby to baby Our daughter is now 10 months old and my wife is done breastfeeding (she got really sick and had to be on medication). Typically babies will drink the breastmilk at room temp or warmer. My wife used to freeze her breastmilk and then run it under warm water for a few minutes to thaw it out.
Our daughter refused to drink the milk cold so we always warmed it. I think every baby is different. I don't believe there are any dangers feeding your baby cold milk.
You should call your pediatrician to be sure. Sources: personal exp.
He can drink it cold The reason that people warm it up is to mimic the temperature it would be if the babies were breast-feeding. We gave our daughter formula and stopped warming it up after a few months.
It's perfectly safe to drink it cold Children have different preferences, but out of the refrigerator is just fine. As my daughter got older, she didn't like it was warm and now actually prefers it colder now...which, actually, will make the transition to whole milk all that much easier as it will come out of the fridge! :) Relax and let your little one guide you!
He knows what he likes! :) .
Not necessarily warmed up Frozen or breastmilk that's been stored in the fridge will need to be warmed up first, however it is not necessary to warm it up until it's warm, it can be warmed up until it's about room temperature. Milk straight from the breast is slightly warmer than room temperature, however room temperature breastmilk is just fine. Generally warmed up milk should be consumed within an hour and cannot be re-froze..
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
