Half of NZ's university graduates have to leave NZ to find jobs. Unless you have some really rare specialty some employer needs & there are no NZ citizens anywhere qualified for the job, you are SOL. Jobs are scarce.
The only country creating any significant number of new jobs is India. "Decent" job? Any job at all is decent!
Better off than at least a billion other jobhunters! Worldwide labor glut of a billion adults. With a billion more already on track to enter the workforce within a decade.
India is the single largest contributor to that glut. Jobs are scarce in US, UK & almost all of EU, and more. Even immigrants to Canada with PR (no employment visa needed - legal to work) began complaining end-2011 that after a year or more residing in Canada & looking for work, they could no kind of job at all despite their degrees & experience.
Your best bet is in India.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
