The statement that Canadians do not need a visa to Commonwealth countries is wrong. Canadians need visa for Australia, Cameroon, Gambia, India, Kenya, just to name a few. Now to your question.
Hawaii is a state of the United States, a visa is not required for Canadian citizen. http://www.travel.state.gov/visa/temp/wi... .. For Australia you will need an Electronic Travel Authority (ETA) which can be obtained through the website of the Australian Immigration and Citizen Department for a service fee of AU$20 to be paid by certain type of credit cards. The ETA is a so called label-free visa, no need to go to an Embassy or show any print out.
Airlines and Australian Immigration Officers can check your eligibility to travel electronically. The ETA is valid for one year and grants a stay of up to 90 days for each visit, should you plan to stay for longer you would need to apply for an E-Visa (subclass 676) or travel Australia - Fiji - Australia or Australia - New Zealand - Australia. http://www.immi.gov.au/e_visa/eta.htm .. Canadian tourists can stay on Fiji for up to 4 months without a visa, the stay can be extended at Fiji Immigration.
http://www.timaticweb.com/cgi-bin/tim_we... .. New Zealand grants Canadian passport holders a visa free stay of up to 90 days. http://glossary.immigration.govt.nz/VisaFreeCountries.htm ..
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
