Yes, there were some similarities. From the pagans in the area they adopted veneration of the Black Stone, and the Kaaba. The marching around the Kaaba seven times was also known in pagan Mecca. The incorporation of the Jinns and other spirit entities was a common belief in pagan Arabia.
Mohammad's wife Khadijah had a cousin, Waraqah, who is believed to have been an Ebionite monk. Waraqah was the person who told Muhammad that the spirit he felt in the cave outside Mecca was really the angel Gabriel, and declared Mohammad to be a prophet. From the Ebionites Islam adopted the practice of circumcision, avoidance of pork and alcohol, the concept of the Oneness of God, the concept of Jesus' virgin birth and the denial of Jesus' divinity.
Mainly a mixture of Judaism, Christianity and pagan religions, which is sort of what the Koran is.
