Firstly you can file for an unemployment if you fail to find a job after a reasonable time of your leaving your last job. It has nothing to do with the circumstances of why you left your last job. If you had waited to be fired, you would have had a legal claim against your boss for unfair dismissal IF you could prove it.
Workplaces are like hell nowadays with the bosses acting as if they are God and their friends at work making life hell for anyone they don't like. There is no easy solution to your problem, you just have to keep on looking for another job and hope that your boss does not give you a bad reference when you find one.
They look at each claim case by case, but general rule of thumb: if you quit you get nothing. Being fired doesn't automatically guarantee benefits, either.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
