Can you get pregnant on the white Yaz birth control pills?

I was on the 3rd of the 4 white pills when I had unprotected sex. I was just wondering if I could get pregnant or not. I heard that I shouldn't be ovulating due to the type of birth control Yaz is.

You don't say how long you have been on Yaz. As long as you have been taking the pills for at leat 2-3 months without any spotting or break through bleeding during the active weeks pills and as long as you take your pills at a regular time each day, the recommended is within a two hour window each day of the same time, then you should be fine. You did not say if you were married, engaged or just looking, so I'm assuming you are single and looking.

You would be wise to use condoms as a back up to prevent the spread of herpes, genital warts or human papilloma virus. The guys don't always have signs that would alert you to these lovely things but ONE exposure could change the whole future course of your life. I know guys often give a rash of crap about condoms but it's your health on the line.

The sneaky thing about human papilloma virus or warts is that they might not even show up right away and may lie dormant for a long time and finally show themselves on an abnormal pap always take your pill at a set time, if you forget one take it as soon as you remember, and then take that days pill on time. And if you ever see any spotting during the active pills ( not your "period" week in other words) then you MUST use a back up form of contraception to be sure the pill has not failed you. What happens during the white pills is a hasty ovulation and dropping of the uterine lining and it all happens so quickly you cannot get pregnant.

5 If you really don't want to be pregnant, yet...PLEASE consider doubling up on your protection. I know not all couples like condoms, but, pills alone do not give you 100% protection....Ask some of the MOM's on here how #1, #2 or #3 of their brood came to them. Just MHO.Be well, Kdavis!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
