Can you help me to motivate 8-9 year old students?

My daughter's teacher is awesome with the kids. I know one way he motivates them is by allowing them to 'earn' money during the week- it includes being there, having homework done, an act of random kindness, anything to that nature. Every 3 months they have an opportunity to 'buy' items with the money 'earned'.

The items for sell are items brought from the students homes- unwanted toys. Kind of like a garage sale. Then each student gets to auction off their item.

What they sell their item for gets added to their balance. They learn to earn money, save money, and fill out a budget sheet and get a toy! Or write a paper about space aliens and then they bring their space aliens to life by creating them out of crafty things.

The way to motivate kids ages 8-9 are: 1. Give games suitable to the lessons 2. Give prices when having an activity.3.

Action songs. Able for them to awaken their interests.

For Selecting them for Above Positions conduct a Voting campaign or Conduct an aptitude test and Oral Exam . After Selecting guide them How they should be based on their designations Give them some Badges and idcards to motivate them.

There are many fields which can make even the student of 9 to 10 years to get concentrated into studies. But it works only in 15/100. I think the best way to manage the kids is, arranging their mind.It will be quite difficult, but once it is done, it will work according to your wish... find out where the child is making his mistakes, in reading, in understanding the meaning of the word, confusion in calculation, or something else... a word of appreciation between many other students is also a good theme of managing kids...so enjoy with them and make their life shine forever, they will create name and fame to you in future.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
