So, take this on face value, that he's interested in you for a potential job in your field. Go to the meeting and treat it like an interview meeting. Prepare questions for him about what the job is, what the work environment is.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
