It is very refreshing to see an enquiring, 'Christian' question on this forum. Your question covers a lot of ground, and several aspects. I am no EXPERT but I would like at least to address your question, for your approval.
1. We are all 'sinners' - "For all have sinned, and fall short of the Glory of God." Romans.
3:23 "We are unfit to worship you; each of our good deeds is merely a filthy rag. We dry up like leaves; our sins are storm winds sweeping us away." Isaiah 64:6 2.
I think, maybe, you are confusing 'believe' (ie. Accepting Jesus as Lord and Master, body, soul and mind,) with 'knowing'. - You surely believe there is only one God.
That's fine. Even demons believe this, and it makes them shake with fear. James 2:19.
3. Different denominations have differing views on the Millennium. So I won't go there.
Pre millennium - Millennium - Post millennium, (check them out?) 4. The 'sleep' subject is also 'on the table' with different denominations. Although the denomination I am with do not agree with the 'sleep', I tend to lean toward it, I have found another denomination that does.
(Seven day Adventist) I wondered a long time ago about all the mentions of 'sleep' in the Bible. I hope this gives you something to think about? And I agree with the statement you made: "There is always hope and God can comfort and save any person in any condition.
God bless." PS: Please use 'spell check' more often?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
