I think "divisions". Why not just be "Christians"? We were never meant to be hyphen-named Christians!
1 Corinthians 1:10-13 says, "Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. For it has been declared to me concerning you, my brethren, by those of Chloe’s household, that there are contentions among you. Now I say this, that each of you says, “I am of Paul,” or “I am of Apollos,” or “I am of Cephas,” or “I am of Christ.”
Is Christ divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Or were you baptized in the name of Paul?"
Because they were divided by these various names and allegiances, Paul said he could not call them "spiritual". Rather they were "carnal" ("worldly"). (1 Cor.
3:1-4) When Paul begged them to "all speak the same thing", how many was "all"? How many divisions are in "no divisions"? But yet we divide today into "Protestant Christians", "Catholic Christians", "Evangelical Christians", "Mormon Christians", and so on.
Why not be just a Christian like those 3000 in Acts 2:42-47 were? .
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
