Protestants or evangelicals? why do you say the catholic church isn't a christian church?

Divorce is always considered a last resort in protestant churches. However, you need to look at Jesus' teachings more closely. For one thing, Jesus alowed divorce in cases of affair: Mathew 19:9.

Second 1 Corinthians 7:15 says divorce is alright in the case of abandonment. Third, Jesus said that Moses allowed divorce on other cases because of the hardness of the husbands hearts. Jesus fought against the corruption of this law (many men were divorcing for no reason what-so-ever) but he never abolished it..... Lastly, re-marriage is always allowed in protestant churches.

Yes, divorce can be a sin at times, but forgiveness is always given for sins. God said that our sins are not just forgiven, but washed free..... gone forever.... no longer remembered. If the sins are truly washed tree, as the bible says, than there is no reason to think re-marriage is sinful.

For remarriage is only sinful if your sin of divorce is still around... but if its not... than remarriage is not sinful.

In contrast to the easy access to divorce under the Mosaic law, and because of the misuse of divorce in that day, Jesus repeatedly condemns divorce and emphasizes the eternal nature of marriage.

The possibility of divorce on the grounds of sexual immorality shows that marriage can be destroyed by sin. While recognizing divorce as a serious sin, the Church allows divorce and a second marriage as a concession to human weakness and as a corrective measure of compassion when a marriage has been broken.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
