Mountain Dew has a unique flavor and more caffeine than the average soda, so it is popular with younger people, particularly the golden demographic of marketing: the 18-34 year old male. I like the taste, and I'll admit I drank quite a bit of it back in my college gaming days, but it's just too much for me now. I will occasionally get a diet Mountain Dew.
