Conservatives, do you want less taxes or fair taxes?

THANK YOU....very seldom do I see an argument from either side that incorporates REAL, Factual Numbers. You are absolutely correct on the issue of Taxation....100% of the INCOME of those making $250,000/year would leave us about a 1/4 of a Trillion Dollars short of breaking even in just a single year. There is no way to even think about starting to pay down the Public Debt when we are increasing spending by 7% per year and Revenues are Stagnant at best.

Can people and corporations stand a hit on taxes? Sure, it would hurt, but the question is WHY? If will not cure the Ailment, or even put a band-aid on the wound, why inflict further pain?

Spending IS, Was and Shall always be the problem and until it's done in a more responsible manner, we will not get better.

We shouldn't be worrying about deficits during a recession . If private entities want spend money to keep the economy going then it's the responsibility of the federal government . As for taxes and the wealthy 1% Romney releasing his vague tax return today is really opening the eyes of the American peoples to the unfairness of the system.

When hard working American pay double in taxes compared to what millionaires and billionairs pay you know there is a problem with the tax code which was implemented during G.W.Bush years in office.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
