I'm not planning on quitting smoking soon, so please don't focus on quitting as my best option. I do smoke, and I want to limit me smelling like my nasty habit. Currently, I smoke outside, and I pull my hair back into a ponytail when I do.
Obviously, I change cloths often and wash everything, everytime I wear it. After smoking, I wash my hands, lower arms, and mouth area. Does anyone else have a trick?

If you smoke, try to stop and don't let anyone smoke in your home. If in your house, you would have air out everything, wash wall, carpets. You would have to get the odor out of your closets and linen closet.It took a few months after quitting (my spouse and I) before my son noticed the difference.

The only way to stop smelling like a nasty ashtray is to quit smoking. Not only does the stench get on your hair, and on your clothing, and stay there, but it's in your lungs and you can't scrub those out. Even mouthwash can't make that smell go away.
Febreze and breath mints. My mom did that when she hid smoking from us for about 10 months when I was a teenager. We had no idea she smoked because she kept Febreze in a travel spray-bottle and sprayed herself after every cigarette, along with chewing gum.My mom was a sneaky woman with that habit LOL.
Unless you are standing outside with your back to a strong breeze, the smoke is going to float around you and get in your hair and clothes anyway, you may not see the smoke but enough of the smoke tendrils are still covering you head to foot. Plus its in your lungs, nose, sinus's, on your tongue, so even after you stop smoking the smoke is still in your nose covering your nasal passages, in your mouth, coating everything, every time you breath out your blowing all that smell out too. You'd have to go outside naked to smoke them go in take a shower, wash your hair, brush your teeth, gargle and flush your nasal passages.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
