I agree with 'Happy in the Truth'. Most other countries do have a large population of Creationist, as well as Evolutionists, you simply don't hear about it in the schools or media. America allows free discussion of these topics in school and in the media and educational studies, whereas in most other countries, the school and media systems are run and controlled differently, so it's not an open debate.
It simply seems more intense in the USA because it's openly intense- in other countries, it's more of a hushed debate.
First of all, evolution is a theory and not fact. The problem is that whatever the modern theory is, it is not TOTTALY correct. It needs to be corrected or improved on.
This scripture shows a symbolic expression supporting evolution. The serpent or snake started with legs and was cursed to go on it's belly. Genesis 3:14 14And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life: Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
