Dear Senior Parents: Have your children ever been embarrassed by you and their rudeness made you cry?

All I know is good education must start at home and school, by kids respecting their parents and teachers, for starters. ... People need to stop regurgitating the corny adage that respect must be earned --- children need reasonable limits for their own good, otherwise we're all lost. They must be taught that disrespecting their (loving) parents and (caring) teachers is NOT acceptable behavior.

Yes, as crazy as it sounds, this simple fact has been lost to us as a society! ... Set a good example for your kids, and earn their respect, by teaching them good manners, how about that, dear parents? Guess what, people are afraid to educate their children, nowadays!

... They are fearful of being accused of anything from child abuse to raising kids who can't stand up to their increasingly irreverent and bullying peers. Meanwhile, our society keeps producing lil' monster boys and girls, with emotional rabies in their blood, who demand (yes DEMAND), slaves for parents, with undivided attention serving their every lil' whim, hand and foot, 24/7. P.S. Hope you feel better.

Howsoever might I not be a parent myself but I can understand what most people miss out in their lives as children they find through the lives of their children. For instance, in bringing their children up, in raising and having them properly educated and informed in the ways of this world, or simply by listening to them talk, by watching them play, by watching over them, by encouraging them to participate, to become good responsible people, by teaching them the importance and the value of being honest, truthful and strong, and especially by attending to their simplistic wishes, needs, and desires. I believe for each parent this is like being given a second chance, and a life not to live themselves but to make very worthy of living by their dearest ones, and in the act living through the rest of their days in a new childlike way, this time however, without being so inexperience or naïve, so childish and prone to making mistakes, this time not being themselves on the receiving end and at the centre of attention but their children.

I therefore agree that children parent their parents in a very especial way, i.e. By enabling them to be parents, as without there being children there would be no parents, this is just simple as that. Children therefore do the most important job in the world, they teach us how to be a parent, and better still, how to be a good one.

A child after all is the father of man.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
