Debit or Credit? If you use a bank card as a credit transaction, how does it differ from using it as a debit trans.?

1 You are better protected by using a credit card. militarymoney.com/credit/1093531365http:... might answer at least parts of your questions.

2 I use mine as a credit card - because of what unixcorn said. Better protection. I also don't get charged fifty cents per transaction if I use it as a credit card.

The monies are withdrawn immediately from your bank account.

Okay, so you have a bank card with a Visa logo that allows you to use it as a debit card or a credit card. I know that debit transactions are cheaper for the retailer (and that's how I use my bank card the most) but what if I were someday say "make it a credit transaction" - how is that transaction different to my bank account than if I were to use it as a debit? The monies are still withdrawn immediately, aren't they?

Is one transaction guaranteed by Visa and the other not? When used as a debit, the money is taken from your account. When you use it as a credit card, you have a certain amount of time to pay the credit card statement.

You can pay the whole balance, or the minimum payment. If you make the minimum payment, you will be charged interest on the balance according to the agreement you made for the card. You are wise to use this as a debit card and only spend what you have!

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
