The recall affects two Clyclafem products and two Glidess products, as well as Emoquette, Orsythia, Previfem, and Tri-Previfem oral contraceptives. The affected lot numbers can be found at the following URL: qualitestrx.com/pdf/OCRecall.pdf pdf.

That keeps the correct level of hormone in a woman’s body. * Less than 1 out of 100 women will get pregnant each year if they always take the pill each day as directed. * About 9 out of 100 women will get pregnant each year if they don’t always take the pill each day as directed.
The pill may be slightly less effective for women who are very overweight. Certain medicines and supplements may make the pill less effective. These include * the antibiotic rifampin — other antibiotics do not make the pill less effective * certain medicines that are taken by mouth for yeast infections * certain HIV medicines * certain anti-seizure medicines * St. John's wortVomiting and diarrhea may also keep the pill from working.

It "can" affect it's reliability. But one should always let their doctor know what other medications they are taking when they ask to be put on birth control pills. Just like anything else.
You have to take responsibility for your healthcare. I somebody is taking a lot of herbal meds not tested (a real problem today) they often don't know how these herbals interact.
The weirdness is that this mix-up goes back to 2010 and in the 9th month of 2011 we finally learn about it. I shudder to think how many infants were killed because of this failure in packaging (!? ) .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
