Different authors define economics as a discipline, write the various definitions of economics?

It does depend on what you are referring to, but the schoolbook definition that I learnt in economics is the study of allocation of scarce resources among unlimited wants and needs.

1) Economics is the branch of social science that deals with the production and distribution and consumption of goods and services and their management2) Economics is the social science that examines how people choose to use limited or scarce resources in attempting to satisfy their unlimited wants.3) The study of how the forces of supply and demand allocate scarce resources.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
