Simply put; Jehovah is the ALMIGHTY GOD, his Son is Jesus Christ who is a god, can be considered "Mighty" and other adjectives. BUT, there is a separation between the two. The "ultimate" glory and honor goes to the Father.

However, we have deep respect for his Son who came to earth to "explain" him as brought out in John 1:18 Col 1:15 explains that Christ is firstborn of all creation. This means he had a Heavenly existence with his Father going back eons. We do not even know how long ago.

However, with Jehovah the Father, he has "no beginning and no end." Is that hard to understand, yes it is because we are mere humans not knowing all of His ways. This is why we continually pray for holy spirit to guide us.
