Actually, yes. In fact, JWs still share some beliefs with Adventists, including hell (the grave) and the soul (a life, not immortal), that are different from "mainstream" Christianity. I read one of their brochures once, and I recall there being some similarities in beliefs.
To the best of my recollection, these two were the main ones. My memory might be fuzzy, though! One big difference I recall is that Adventists believe that Jesus is God whereas JWs do not.
Oh yeah- not to mention that the JW "autobiography", the "Proclaimers" book, admits that Russell had roots ion Adventism. I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
