Do Officers in the U.S. Army have an MOS like Enlisted do?

Much less the freaking NAVY..... Whose recruiting slogan for years and years and years has been "see the world". Besides, getting the opportunity to experience living in another country on somebody else's dime is one of the main benefits of enlisting. The military does not sound suitable to you.

If you want to stay close to home a better choice to you might be going to a local college, and/or get a nice entry level minimum wage job somewhere. A buddy of mine is an MA in the Navy Reserve, not even active. Two or 3 years ago he spent 6 months on a destroyer in the Med.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
